Alex
Alex joined DJS Research in 2010, after beginning her career in head office retail in London. Following a career break to raise her children in the Peak District, she qualified as a counsellor before returning to the world of research.
She now heads up the Research Support function, bringing her passion for helping the research team deliver engaging and actionable insights for clients.
Her natural curiosity about people, honed during her counselling career, translates perfectly into research, and she often jokes that she loves her role because it allows her to be a professional “nosey parker.” Alex thrives on supporting others, ensuring projects run smoothly and teams are equipped to produce high-quality research outputs.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys exploring the Peak District with her husband and their labrador, Ginny. She also runs with a group of friends, making the most of the hills, and when she’s not outside, she can be found relaxing with a good book, a glass of wine, and a bar of chocolate.
