DJS Research was commissioned to design, manage and deliver the 2023/24 Residents’ Survey on behalf of the council, bringing expertise in community research and mixed mode methodology. Fieldwork was conducted through a combination of telephone (CATI), online and face‑to‑face (CAPI) interviewing to maximise participation and achieve a representative sample of residents across North Warwickshire. Rigorous sampling, quota controls and weighting were applied to reflect the local population profile.
The survey covered a wide range of topics including satisfaction with council services, perceptions of local areas, priorities for future investment, community safety, environment and neighbourhood issues, and overall quality of life. Insight from the research provides detailed understanding of what matters most to residents, highlighting areas of strength as well as opportunities for improvement. By benchmarking results against previous waves of the survey and analysing key demographic patterns, the council is able to understand trends over time and make evidence‑based decisions that reflect resident priorities.
DJS Research’s involvement ensured high‑quality data and insight, supporting North Warwickshire Borough Council’s commitment to listening to its community and delivering services that respond to the views and needs of its residents.
