The challenge

Leicester City Council commissioned a residents’ health and wellbeing survey to inform service delivery across the city. The challenge for the Creative Services team was to translate complex research findings into a clear and visually engaging format that could communicate key messages quickly to a wide range of audiences. All outputs needed to align with council brand guidelines while remaining accessible and engaging for users with varying levels of data literacy.

The approach

The team designed a visually engaging infographic to present headline findings, using colour, hierarchy, and clear data visualisation to highlight both positive outcomes and key challenges. A short video summary was also produced to translate the findings into a modern, memorable moving-image format for wider digital dissemination.

The results

The infographic and video summary transformed detailed survey findings into accessible, engaging assets, supporting quick understanding, wider sharing, and demonstrating the impact of strong visual storytelling in public sector research.
