Poll discovers most popular UK family day trips this easter: A poll conducted by Ffrees Family Finance has uncovered the current top family-friendly destinations which Britons are keen on visiting this Easter holiday.
The findings reveal that the on-going cold weather in Blighty is driving most families to plan indoor outings with their kids, rather than outdoor excursions – the Natural History Museum has been crowned as top choice for a perfect day trip by almost half of the parents who took part in the survey.
In second place with 38% of the vote, The Eden Project Biomes in Cornwall are a firm favourite, where inside the fascinating eco-domes people can explore mini-rainforests and more.
Thereafter, some families proved keen on some thrill-seeking since the third most popular place in the list went to Alton Towers in Staffordshire which is famous for its white knuckle rides.
The Top Ten family day attractions this Easter are rounded off by the London Eye, Legoland (Windsor), Cadbury World (Birmingham), Warwick Castle on the river Avon, Chester Zoo, the Chessington World of Adventures (Surrey) and Cheddar Gorge (Somerset).
