Confidence high in property investment: A survey which took place throughout March this year by The Worldwide Property Group has shown that 84% of the respondents believed now to be a good time to buy a property in the UK.
Overall, confidence in property investment both in the UK and abroad is high. The last time a survey recorded such a positive percentage was in November 2010.
The study focused on a number of opinion factors such as buying intentions, interest rate and house price expectations, general confidence and views on property as an investment.
Only 28% of those surveyed expect UK property values to fall over the coming year, and there was an even split between those who expect prices to either rise or remain static.
When it came to popular locations to purchase property for good value in the current market, the US is still the most sought after country.
Greece, Portugal, Turkey and Spain were also rated highly, and China was mentioned for the first time in the history of the survey.
In total, three in every four people interviewed believe property offers the best potential of any major investment.
