Device agnostic surveys

How have we made our surveys device agnostic?

A key aspect for making surveys device agnostic is that we recognise from the start which device is being used and its screen size.

With more surveys being completed on mobiles and tablets, one of the key areas we have worked on is making sure scrolling is kept to a minimum. We have done this by implementing grid questions that formulated in a way that is nearly as seamless as conducting the survey via a laptop or desktop.

In addition we use screen-size and touch-capability variables to determine whether or not using drag and drops or special ranking question formats will actually be feasible and engaging on the device. If it is not engaging or feasible, we transform the survey into a simpler format.
