Depth research

Depth research

Depth research refers to a set of market research techniques aimed at gaining a detailed, nuanced understanding of respondents’ attitudes, motivations, and behaviours. Most commonly, it is associated with in-depth qualitative interviews with individuals, often called depth interviews, these are an essential part of qualitative research.

Depth research allows researchers to explore topics thoroughly, uncovering insights that may not emerge through surveys or group discussions. It is particularly useful for understanding complex decision-making processes, emotional drivers, and personal experiences.

At DJS Research, our team has extensive expertise in conducting depth research, with a strong focus on depth interviews that deliver rich, actionable insights.
